Distances and competitions in 2024

In the upcoming year's event, we're shaking things up for TrygFonden Copenhagen Swim.

We've decided to make Friday a chill day with a focus on social vibes, while Saturday will host the event's competitions and the crowning of the oldest male and female participants. This excludes the Krüger Relay, which in 2024 will only take place on Friday.

So, the competitions on different distances are as described below.

All participants who complete their distance will, of course, still receive a medal in the starting and finishing area. Read more about the event's medals and competitions here.

4x500 meters Krüger Relay

Only held on Friday. We'll crown the three fastest teams.

REMA 1000 meters

Held both on Friday and Saturday. The competition only takes place on Saturday, where we crown the three fastest.

2,000 m with heat start

Only held on Saturday. We'll crown a winner for each gender in 14 different age groups.

2,000 m with rolling start

Only held on Friday. No winners are crowned.

2,000 m elite

Only held on Saturday. We'll crown the three fastest ladies and gentlemen.

2,000 m by night

Only held on Friday. No winners are crowned.

10,000 meters

Only held on Saturday. We'll crown the three fastest for each gender.
