Teams of four swimmers must swim 500m each.

The perfect distance for new open water swimmers.

The traditional 2.000 m-distance. You race to become the fastest in your age group.

The traditional 2,000 m-distance. As an elite swimmer, you race to be one of the 3 fastest men or women.

The traditional 2,000 meter distance. Wetsuits are not permitted in the speedos only heat.

The traditional 2,000 meter distance. You are allocated a 15-minute time slot, and can start when you want in this slot.

Each swimmer has a swim buoy illuminated by a lantern. We swim together and light up the canals. This is NOT a race, but a social swim.

This is for the skilled open water swimmer, who love the extreme and just can’t get enough of swimming around Christiansborg.

Grey skies and rain could not dampen the joy of swimming for the almost 6,000 participants who filled Copenhagen’s canals this weekend for the largest open-water swimming event in the Nordic region. At the same time, TrygFonden Copenhagen Swim celebrated its 20th anniversary with a new participant record.
