Guide: Sell your spot in the canal – or buy someone else’s

We’ve all been there: plans change, and suddenly you have a ticket you won’t use – or a burning wish to do a specific distance without a ticket in hand. That’s why we’ve made it possible to resell and buy tickets directly via Sportstiming. This applies to all distances – and the price follows the original ticket price, with a small administration fee.

How does it work? We’ll guide you below.

Resale happens directly via Sportstiming. If you have questions, please contact them. SvømDanmark is unfortunately unable to assist with the buying and selling of tickets.

This also means that SvømDanmark will no longer manage waiting lists (such as for the 10,000 m-distance); all resales and purchases will now take place via Sportstiming.

How to sell your ticket

1. Log in to Sportstiming and find your registration.
2. Click “Changes”.
3. Select “Sell / transfer ticket”.

You’ll then see these options: “Put for sale for all”, “Sell to a person” you choose, or “Transfer to a person” you choose.

Please note that you may sell your ticket for no more than the original purchase price.

How to buy someone else’s ticket

1. Go to this page: https://www.sportstiming.dk/event/17072/resale. Any tickets currently for sale will be listed there.
2. If you’d like to receive an email when tickets are posted, fill in the “Notify me” section.
3. Here you can select the specific distances you’re interested in.

Please note: emails are sent to 50 people at a time, so tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when they go on sale.
